Time to release the first version of my latest mod... Novus Natio Nationis Key to original of material from other mods. * = SRI ^ = 1100 # = Additional Revolters " = WholeWorld ! = ROIVO Nations added in this mod. Some are for the whole timeframe, others for only part. Playable Anjou ^ Cambrai ^ Cilli * Görz * Karvuna Livonia Livonian Order (Made playable as a vassal of Teutonic Order from game start) Lower Austria * Moravia Paderborn ^ Sapmi Slesvig Stadt Bremen * Stadt Danzig * Stadt Frankfurt * Stadt Lubeck * Stadt Nurnberg * Theodoro Trent ^ Verona ^ Vidin Releasable Carinthia # Carniola # Castille Catalunya (Cores added from start) Götaland Iceland # Leon # Limburg Majorca " Man Mide # Skane # Valencia # Revoltable Gascony # Lusatia Norrland Plock # Slovakia Createable Franconia ^ Greater Bavaria Greater Saxony Lotharingia Romania ! If either Castille or Leon revolts/is released the remainder of the nation will become the other. The map is based on Helius' SRI map with the following additional provinces. I've only made relatively minor changes to Europe but the next proper version including Asia may take me a while. I will still accept suggestions for more changes in Europe.
Version 1.1 Key to original of material from other mods. $ = Terra Nova Playable Epirus $ Smolensk$ Releaseable Artois Ruthenia Revoltable Istria Carinthia and Carniola have been changed from Releaseable in 1.0 to Revoltable Createable Celtic Union (with thanks to r6mile) Following a suggestion by Gottskalk I have added the following culture: Luxembourgish I've changed the country colour of Trent to avoid similarity with neighbours. I've edited the province histories of Picardy and Artois to be more historically accurate. Thanks to 17blue17 and the Terra Nova tem for letting me use the two nations I have used from that mod. Finally I would like to say thank you to everyone who downloaded v1.0

For version 2 of this mod I have incorporated ATAGE but I have come across a major problem.
It occurs when nations are released as vassals or as independent nations. For instance when I playtested France and released its vassals they were all released at the same tier and became Kingdoms rather than the Duchies and Counties they should have been e.g Kingdom of Normandy rather than Duchy of Normandy. The same occured when I tested Burgundy e.g Duchy of Flanders rather than County of Flanders. I have fixed it, to a point, by adding new lines in the ATAGE localisation file for each title. Now when a Kingdom releases a vassal it will become a Duchy and when a Duchy releases a vassal it will become a County, etc. While not a solution to the issue and not entirely accurate this is at least better than it was before. This 'fix' does also not solve a similar issue arising when a nation is forced in a peace, to release nations as independent, they take the tier of the nation doing the demanding. For example when playing as France I demanded that England release Mide (which should be a County) and it became a Kingdom and when I did the same as Burgundy, Mide was released as a Duchy. I have so far not been able to do anything to try and solve this issue as I can't understand why the ATAGE government tiers shown in the country history files are not being used. I was hoping that someone might know how to solve this issue and allow nations to be released at the tier they should be in their history files. Novus Natio Nationis v2 beta

Time for version 2.1 This has been written for IN3.2b.
With thanks to gigau and his MEIOU mod for the items marked % New Nations Playable Berry Poitiers Maine Bar Blois Lucca % Sion % Createable Kingdom of Arles Duchy of Aquitaine Duchy of Gascony Castille & Leon (I forgot to do this before. During a test game I made Castille & Leon release Leon as a vassal, they then switched to Castille correctly but when they later annexed Leon again they then kept switching from one to the other.) New Provinces Rioja % Lucca % Berry % Vaud % Vallais % Euboea Lesbos Kefalonia New Government Stem Duchy New Culture Arpitan % I know there are a few bugs as I can't get this mod to work in the Scenario Editor. I have however found no problems when playing the game. If anyone can find the bugs in question so I can use the Editor on the mod I would be most grateful. I would love to hear any stories from players who successfully complete one or more of the formation events. ![]()

Nice mod, I tried it out.
Started with Brabant and noticed the Dutch provinces have no culture. So all the Dutch counties start without a culture.

I have fixed the error with the cultures file as well as a few other bugs I noticed.
I have also made a few changes I missed out in version 2.1. I changed Brittany's capital to the province of Armor (Rennes was capital of Ducal Brittany) which was to allow me to add. New Nation Releaseable County of Nantes As a revolter for Brittany's French culture province of Vendee. Any save games should work although as usual the changes will not be shown in the save. I received an error when trying to upload the mod to the server so I have uploaded it to the link below. Novus Natio Nationis v2.11 Added I had to upload a new version as I'd messed a file (I forgot to check for all instances of a region before removing it and had a game breaking missions error) and uploaded a correction before anybody had downloaded. This would have gone unannounced but I just noticed that the first addition from the next full version was in the 2.11 update too so you now also have. New Nation Releaseable County of Roussillon

I'm busy finalising the next version of my mod and I have come across a slight problem. I have created new countries to represent the times that parts of Austria were ruled as separate territories and during some of this time various Austrian Dukes were Holy Roman Emperor. The problem is the master list still has the ruler of HAB as Emperor rather than the ruler of one of the parts of Austria. Is it possible to change the master list to correct this?

Is this compatible with Magna Mundi/are you going to make this compatible with it?
Also the Maine stats are screwed up for Charles IV. See for yourself in game. (1453 start, his name includes code for his stats and such) This is because in the history files, it lists his name as "Charles IV without the other " at the end, same with Charles V.

Following delays for various reasons I am pleased to announce that version 2.2 is now finally ready for release.
![]() New Nations Playable East Frisia Berg Bamberg Osnabruck Inner Austria Further Austria Releaseable Namur New Provinces West Friesland Groningen Drenthe East Frisia Overijssel Overkwartier Namur Kleves Blekinge Sundgau Bregenz New Cultures Frisian Icelandic Leonese Aragonese I created Inner Austria and Further Austria to represent the dynastical split of the Hapsburg lands rather than Styria and Tirol to allow these entities to be released themselves. I also created a Reunite Hapsburg Lands mission for each of the three parts of Austria - Inner, Further and the existing Lower. It was interesting to watch a game when all three started with that mission, particularly as they start out with Alliances and Royal Marriages. I started a test game during one of Austria's wars during the period there was three parts and it was a challenge fighting three of them at the same time. ![]() I made up flags for the three parts of Austria but if anybody knows of any more correct ones I would love to have them.
