In internet explorer:
1. Rightclick on the Oops picture 2. Choose properties 3. Copy the url shown as address (usually some dingo.care-mail address) [select and ctrl-c] 4. Paste url [ctrl-v] into address and view 5. Once viewed, the link appears to remain when you return to the AAR (Similar procedure for Netscape, Mozilla, &etc) This works for me every time. Can anyone confirm whether this works for people without a care2 account? EDIT: Consensus seems to be that it is working for the majority of the viewers. In future AARs, I will add add the link to the title of an image, so you can view the image by: 1. Rightclicking the title of the image and copying the link url 2. Pasting the url into the address 3. Once viewed, the image should be shown in the AAR so long as it remains in your local cache.

Yep. Works for me. Since, when you go and view it in this manner your browser will "think" of it as a web page, it will then be held in memory for a while (depending on your browser settings for how long to keep a page in history) so when you come back it will display it since it thinks of the [img] tags as embedding a page.
It's a bit of a hassle, but it's the only solution I've found so far...

Speaking of screenies, has any found a remote-linking-friendly webspace provider yet? I've looked and I haven't found any (and tripod deleted my account, heathens!)

Well, I think I know what you mean.
I personally use Boomspeed to host images, havent had much of a problem (Except they did some cleaning lately so watch out!) They work on this forum (ive hosted them before) so I know it works. For example- ![]() www.boomspeed.com Free 1 meg accounts. (So save them as Jpegs!)

im using netscape6, if that helps is the thread too old and the pics deleted?

You should have posted 3 days later. It would have made exactly one year since the last guy posted

I'm afraid that Care2 somehow lost a good portion of my older images earlier this year
![]() WCfD lost about two-thirds, as I recall, and there is no way to tell which except by trying to view them individually.
