Imperial Steward
The Imperial Steward is essentialy the Imperial Diplomat who presides over the Diet itself. Although he cannot speak for the Emperor unless he is an actual Imperial Diplomat, the Steward's position as the Emperor's word is in effect if the Emperor should happen to not be present in Frankfurt or have a legate of his own.
The Steward can be removed temporarily by any of the Imperial Diplomats, in which case they appoint a temporary new one, themselves not excluded as a possability.

The mouths of the Emperor in states across Europe, the Imperial diplomats hold a special position relitive to all other nobles. They are accountable for their actions, but only to the Emperor himself, meaning that they cannot be arrested by any other person or body without prior permission from the Emperor, although the Emperor will generaly be sure to punish holders of the title who commit crimes if they are reported to him.
