We flew the first mission in a big campaign against gerrys newest 'secret weapon' today. We went after a launching site for their 'flying bombs' in Watten. British intelligence had located at least 70 of these sites, and we will take them all out.

We came in two waves today, first our wave of 18 B24s and after us another 18. That forced the luftwaffe to split the two squadrons they had covering the objective, and that made it so much easier for us to cover the bombers.
